Who are You?

In this day in age, in order to give the image of professionalism, you must have at least an email address and a web page that describes who you are and the services you render.

It is important to know what your competition is doing in terms of web presence. When someone (re)searches you, they may likely come across your competition’s website, and the comparison may make the difference of you getting the customer (or the work), or your competition getting it. And if they research you, but don’t find you, guess what? The odds are not in your favor. Clients are looking for efficiency and expertise. Let them know that you offer both.

Certainly, I still believe that word of mouth is the best advertising. A strong web presence is a very close second. Without one, it is as though you are in a battle with the use of only one hand. Give yourself a fighting chance…pull the trigger.
